The Gift of Your Presence| NEW Wallpaper & Printable

12 Months of Joy_December.jpg

What are some encouraging memories that stand out for you? Those moments that deeply touched you?

What about that spark of joy as a child when someone you looked up to warmly included you in a sport or board game? The excitement of going to an unforgettable baseball game with your father, uncle, or grandfather? A heart-warming talk with a friend or family member? That heart-piercing moment when someone looks you in the eye and gently asks how you are doing.

What do all of these memories have in common? Someone gave the gift of intentional time.

So, in the midst of this busy holiday season, do not underestimate the gift of your presence! Consider how others have given time to you, and how we can pass on that gift to others.

Let’s strive to be fully aware, fully engaged, fully here. Consider how something as simple as meaningful conversation can transform a person’s day and become a treasured memory.

As author and poet George MacDonald wrote, “If instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give.”

We hope these December designs by a homeschool mom bless you and remind you of the value and joy found in gifts of intentional time with others—and remind you of His measureless gift!
